Mobiveil’s RAMDISK-Gen5™ is a PCIe Gen5 and 1.4 NVMe compliant Ramdisk that emulates the next generation NVMe Gen5 SSDs with high performance. With high performance hardware based on Xilinx’s Versal FPGA and with Third party’s configurable IPs Gen5 PCIe controller, 1.4 compliant NVMe controller(UNEX^TM) and DDR4 controller(UMMC^TM), it offers a perfect Ramdisk solution for performance benchmarking. Ramdisk – Gen5^TM uses DDR4 as the storage and hence does not have any NAND flash specific performance limitation.

Mobiveil’s RAMDISK-ULTRA solution is Gen4 PCle and 1.3a NVMe compliant RAMDISK solution. It uses third party configurable Gen4 PCle controller, 1.3a Compliant NVMe controller (UNEX) and DDR4 controller (UMMC) IPs which are part of Mobiveil’s storage IP portfolio. Mobiveil’s Storage IP portfolio additionally has Flash Reliability LDPC controller and Enterprise Flash Controller (EFC). RAMDISK ULTRA solution is NVMe compliant solution that acts as standard NVMe device. This platform can be used for early product development and for performance benchmarking as it uses on board DDR as flash storage. RAMDISK-ULTRA doesn’t use flash for storage and therefore doesn’t have flash specific performance limitation.

Mobiveil’s latest NVMStor-Ultra platform offers high performance and low power SSD solution with its UNH certified NVMe controller IP (UNEX). Based on Xilinx’s high performance ZYNQ Ultrascale plus FPGA, It greatly improves random and sequential performance by reducing latency and enabling high levels of parallelism. Modular approach of Nand flash arrays in SODIMM form factor helps our datacenter clients to easily upgrade their cloud storage and to migrate to next generation Nand flash devices. Currently available in densities upto 3TB in PCIe full length form factor.
